A replica of Michelangelo's masterpiece 'David' which stands in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in the Piazza della Signoria. Florence, Italy. The original was made between 1501-1504 and unveiled on the 8th of September 1504, and subsequently moved to the Accademia Gallery in 1873. This replica was placed here in 1910. It represents the biblical hero David.
