Spanish Civil War: Narciso Estenaga and Echevarria (1882 - August 22, 1936) Titular Bishop of Dora (1922-1936), martyr beatified by the Catholic Church. A man of great culture, and intelligence was also a friend and confessor of King Alfonso XIII. He was one of the thirteen bishops murdered by the Republican side during the Spanish Civil War, a victim of religious persecution, and the youngest of these thirteen prelates.
