In addition, the objective is not only productive because, behind this movement, we find a real social and educational interest. It is now spreading all over the world and not only in big cities like here, in Dinan, a small town of 11000 inhabitants in Brittany documented through a large collective garden at the foot of the medieval city walls where each person rents his or her own large plot. Portugal, Coimbra region, Loural on 2022-05-04. Report on the eco-village of Loural in the mountains of central Portugal. Here, the Klein family and their partners have been working on an ambitious project for a few years. The project is to rehabilitate a small village that has been abandoned since the year 2000 into an eco-location. On 30 hectares, the collective protects and improves the ecosystem by practising organic agriculture, reforestation and the production of green energy. In the process of restoration, this small stone village is moving towards food and energy autonomy and its vegetation is gradually coming back to life.
