Thomson, the deaf and dumb R.A., was at the Science Museum, South Kensington, today, supervising the fixing into position of his giant canvas, 24ft. by 15ft. This huge mural, commissioned by the Museum, vividly depicts the story of the telescope, from the time of Galileo, through the ages to the present day.
