The repeating pattern consists of alternately a small and a large shape under the middle line, which is made of whimsically shaped leaf motifs that lie like a ring around a center of a fine tulet. Along the bottom, an edge runs with a concatenation of such motifs. The motifs are connected by a Maas soil, a Paris soil. The motifs are made in the battery, where the thick and shiny contour wires have a highly accentuating effect. The top of the strip is straight finished. The very bland scaled underside is finished with fine picots.
