Twenty public figures in various situations, Frederick George Byron, 1788 print Eleven performances in which a total of twenty -known figures are in conversation or talk to themselves. They perform different actions. A number of these actions and dialogues refers to slavery, dependence or a lack of freedom. Other representations refer to, among other things, contemporary politics. On the far left, Thurlow is talking to King George III at the table. There is a bag of money on the table. In the second performance, Queen Charlotte is smiling behind a piano, sings about her money, referring to her alleged gingeriness. The Prince of Wales is chained in the third performance. He says: 'Delightful Slavery! A day, an hour, or Such Sweet Bondage is Worth an Eternity of Celestial Happiness'. The chain is held by Maria Fitzherbert.
