A Grim Warning -- A crater made in a Berlin street to illustrate the effect of a bomb burst during the air-defence "manoeuvres" yesterday March 20.Grim realism marked the ***** carried out in Berlin on March 19 and 20 to test the city's defences against aerial attack. Craters were made in the streets to illustrate the effect of bombing, ambulance squads dealt with casualties, and there were even smoke effects representing fire caused by incendiary bombs.
