The performance shows an interior with a large scale. In the presence of Gomarus, Arminius, Johan van Oldenbarnevelt and others, the arguments of the contraders and the Remonstrants are weighed against each other. Maurits makes the balance in favor of the counter -monstrators by placing his sword on the scales.
