Richard Walther Darre, born Ricardo Walther Oscar Darre (14 July 1895 - 5 September 1953), was one of the leading Nazi "blood and soil" (Blut und Boden) ideologists and served as Reich Minister of Food and Agriculture. As the National leader (Reichsleiter) for agricultural policy, he was a high-ranking functionary in the Nazi Party and as a Senior group leader (Obergruppenfuhrer) in the SS, he was the seventh most senior commander in that organisation. He was tried and found guilty on three counts at the Ministries Trial.

Thomas Stearns Eliot OM (26 September 1888 4 January 1965) was an essayist, publisher, playwright, literary and social critic and poet. Born in St. Louis, Missouri in the United States, he moved to the United Kingdom in 1914 (at age 25) and was naturalised as a British subject in 1927 at age 39.

Moshe Sharett (1894 - 1965) Russian-born Israeli politician from the party Mapai. He was Israel's second prime minister (1954-55), serving for a little under two years between David Ben-Gurion's two terms. Sharett was also the country's first foreign minister (1948-56), holding the post for eight years.

Diego Martinez Barrio (25 November 1883, in Seville - 1 January 1962) was a Spanish politician during the Second Spanish Republic, Prime Minister of Spain between 9 October 1933 and 26 December 1933, and was briefly appointed again by Manuel Azana on 19 July 1936 - two days after the beginning of the Spanish Civil War. From 16 March 1936 to 30 March 1939 Martinez was President of the Cortes. In 1936, he was briefly the interim President of the Second Spanish Republic, from 7 April to 10 May.
