Queen Mary Ill -- A Striking early portrait of Queen Mary. Queen Mary, the dowager Queen mother has been confined to her home at Marlborough House, London, for several weeks. To-Day, her doctors Sir John Weir and Lord Webb-Johnson spent Half-An-Hour at Marlborough House. Queen Mary's personal Physician, Sir Horace Evans, has been in close attendance for several days. It is understood that the Dowager Queen mother is suffering from a gastric complaint which prevents her from taking much nourishment. She is, however, attending to daily business with the help of secretaries. Queen Mary was a daughter of the Duke of Teck and was born in Kensington Palace, London, in 1867. March 03, 1953.
