Woman with a child, Esaias Boursse, 1662  Seen a standing woman on the back. She wears a long wrap skirt (Redda) of striped fabric, and a wide Portuguese blouse with long sleeves (hatte). On her hip you can see two flaps of her wrapping skirt in a local way. The hair is put backwards in a bun (Condé). With her right arm she holds a child on her hip. The child holds on to the woman's blouse with the left arm. The child is wearing a short vest. The flap on the back of the Portuguese blouse is the neck opening cut back on the front; This way the blouse can be made from one piece of fabric, with only seams at the bottom of the sleeves to the waist. A few vague sketches can also be seen on the leaf with a metal marker. In the middle of the leaf a vertical line (a wall). To the left of a sitting figure. Incredible and wonderful, 1813, wonderful, No. 18: Garn straw hat (...) .., 1813  'Merveilleuse' with a high straw hat on the head decorated with crepe. She is wearing a jaron of cotton batist (percale), with high waist and mamelukes sleeves with six in between. Collar, sleeves and hem decorated with strips of muslin with scallops and dot pattern. A walking stick in the right hand, which can also be used as a parasol. Further accessories: glove, checkered stockings, flat shoes with large bows.
