To the left of a wedding altar with a shield with two burning hearts and on which a fire burns, are a man and a woman in classicist clothing. He with Roman sandals, a pinking knee pants about which a tunic and a waving wrap. She with a leaf garland in the short crowning hair, a long white tunic, a wrap and bare feet in Roman sandals. Above the altar, Juno floats with the peacock on a cloud and amor is standing to the right of the altar. There is a striking discrepancy between the ornamentation on the magazine in a Louis XV style and that on the frame, which was performed in Louis XIV style. Furthermore, the theme that was chosen for the decoration of the frame, the country life, does not match at all with the presentation of the magazine. It is possible that an older sheet has been applied to a new frame here. The back of the leaf is unpainted. On the frame, the usual connection has been made between pastoral and love symbolism. In the middle reserve are a countryman and a herdin in a pile of Hooischoven.
