Henriette Sontag (1806-1854) celebrated German soprano, born at Koblenz. Engraving of Madame Sontag published in 'The Illustrated London News' (London, 7 July 1849) when she appeared at Her Majesty's Theatre, London, in the title role of 'Linda di Chamonix' the opera by Donizetti.

The 1896 caption reads: Queen Louisa of Prussia from painting in Hohenzollern Museum in Berlin engraved by Varley on half-tone. Louisa Ulrika of Prussia was Queen of Sweden from 1751 to 1771 as the consort of King Adolf Frederick. She was queen mother during the reign of King Gustav III.

Lady Jane Grey (1537-54) The Nine Days Queen. After the death of her ardently Protestant cousin Edward VI, Jane was proclaimed queen of England by her ambitious father-in-law the Duke of Northumberland, although her claim was week. The claim of Henry VIII's elder daughter prevailed and she was crowned Mary I. Jane was beheaded 12 February 1554. Wood engraving c1900.

María Luisa de Parma (Parma, December 9, 1751-Rome, January 2, 1819) was queen consort of Spain as wife of Carlos IV. She was the granddaughter of Louis XV of France, sister of Fernando I de Borbón-Parma and also a carnal cousin of the French kings Louis XVI, Louis XVIII and Carlos X.
