Taal Volcano is a large caldera filled by Taal Lake in the Philippines. Here, the Klein family and their partners have been working on an ambitious project for a few years. The project is to rehabilitate a small village that has been abandoned since the year 2000 into an eco-location. On 30 hectares, the collective protects and improves the ecosystem by practising organic agriculture, reforestation and the production of green energy. In the process of restoration, this small stone village is moving towards food and energy autonomy and its vegetation is gradually coming back to life.
