Market Gardeners Get Off Together -- The Executive Committee of the Littleton and Badsey Ltd., Members are elected annually and lay down the general lines of policy. The Littleton and Badsey Ltd., is an Organisation of market-gardeners in the Evesham district of Worcestershire. In this fertile valley, vegetables, fruit and flowers are grown under a system of market-gardens, of an average size of five acres. The market-gardener and his family usually provide the entire labour force.Nearly forty years ago several market-gardeners in Evesham formed their product because the society buys in bulk at wholesale prices members can obtain their seeds.
