Geiger Counter Test to Establish Age of the Kentmere Boat -- A geoger counter is to be used to establish the age of the "Kentmrere Boat" an archaelogical relic discovered last May in a dried out lake near Kentmere, Westmorland by Mr. Leslie Ridding, an employee of the Cape Asbestos Company. The boat, 14ft. long, flat-bottomed, with a round stern and shaped bow, has created great interest among naval historians and it is thought that it may date from the Norman Conquest. For the geiger test, a piece of the hull will be submitted to the "carbon 14" test with now apparatus made at Harwell and recently installed at the British Museum. September 20, 1955.

The building was then fired, so that the Chinese died in the flames. The main means of this horrible crime is a certain welding, which felt so safe because of his method of intimidation of the population, that he removed in Malag when the Dutch troops occupy this city. New Aid For Fire Fighting -- A Man Dressed in one of the new suits, gives a practical demonstration by walking through a mass of flames, and emerging none the worse for it.A new fire fighting suit has been invented, made of asbestos, which will be of great aid to firemen. A person wearing one of the new suits, can walk right through flames without the least effect. The suit entirely covers the person wearing it, and a window fitted in the head gear, for the wearer to see through, and yet have his eyes protected.
