Terracotta fragment of a stemless kylix (drinking cup) mid-5th century B.C. Greek, Attic Interior, head, upper torso, genitals, and part of right thigh of a rider, holding a goad in his right hand; part of head, mane, and back of a horse to right; Exterior, torus foot; the resting surface of the foot is unglazed; the inner wall is glazed; the underside of the floor is decorated in concentric circles; the outer most edge is in reserve, followed by a band of black glaze; a thin band of reserve ,and a thin band of black glaze frame the center which is reserved; in the middle there is a black glaze circle that has a smaller black circle inside of it, which has a dot in the center.
