Physicians, nurses, and other hospital emergency workers respond to simulated mass-casualty incident inside the Emergency Department of the Noble Training Facility (NTF). These healthcare workers represented 17 hospitals in 17 different communities across the state. All participate in the NH Hospital Mutual Aid Network. The 12th Annual Research Symposium, hosted by Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeunes Clinical Investigations Department and Family Medicine Residency Program, took place on April 7, 2022 at Marston Pavilion aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. The symposium honors and showcases scholarly activity and exploration in the medical field. There were 28 posters and eight podium presentations from NMCCL staff, residents and medical professionals from Department of Defense and non-DoD institutions across the country. This years guest speaker was U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander Douglas M. Pokorny, NMCCLs Trauma Director. Pokorny spoke of the importance of medical research and gave a presentation on his own research which has been attributed towards advancements in whole blood use for trauma patients.

Operation IRT Tropic Care officially opened its doors this morning to the people of Kauai in Lihue, Hawai'i, on June 13, 2022! With lines wrapping around the building at Kauai Community College, both service members and the local community were eager to start the day. Patients received basic health checkups, optometry, dental work, and much more. Operation IRT Tropicare Kauai will continue providing these services throughout the week of June 13th-20th. Medical Services will be provided at Ele'Ele Elementary School, Kaua'i Community College, and Kapa'a Middle School.

The 12th Annual Research Symposium, hosted by Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeunes Clinical Investigations Department and Family Medicine Residency Program, took place on April 7, 2022 at Marston Pavilion aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. The symposium honors and showcases scholarly activity and exploration in the medical field. There were 28 posters and eight podium presentations from NMCCL staff, residents and medical professionals from Department of Defense and non-DoD institutions across the country. This years guest speaker was U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander Douglas M. Pokorny, NMCCLs Trauma Director. Pokorny spoke of the importance of medical research and gave a presentation on his own research which has been attributed towards advancements in whole blood use for trauma patients.
