Olympic Games 1948 - 110 metres Hurdles. It was a tragic moment for Donald Finlay and for Gt. Britain, when he hit the last hurdle and stumbled when he was leading in his heat during the 110 metres Hurdles. It was his third and final Olympiad. Donald Finlay is seen hitting the final hurdle, before stumbling, allowing A. J. Marie of France to win. August 03, 1948.

Jesse Owens (September 12, 1913 - March 31, 1980) American track and field athlete who specialized in the sprints and the long jump. He participated in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany, where he achieved international fame by winning four gold medals
