Barcelona 05/24/1981. Robbery at the Central Bank of Barcelona. The robbers entered the headquarters, a seven-story building in Plaza de Cataluña, on May 23. The GEO acted on Sunday the 24th, arresting nine of the eleven assailants. One more was killed. Shortly before eight o'clock on Sunday the 24th, the GEO took positions around the Central Bank to begin the action that made it possible to release all the hostages safe and sound. In the image, some national police officers on surveillance duty, behind a van.
