The State Railways, SJ Tourist bus with driver and hostess, here outside Malmö Central Station.Bussen in the picture Manufacturing number 2284. It was included in a series of buses of type Scania-Vabis B 63 Special from 1954 with Hägglundskaross from Örnsköldsvik, included the series 2279-2288.Sessa was Equipped with luxury interior, toilet, refrigerator and bus hostess. At each seat there was a button that the traveler could press, whereby it was then at the back of the back part of the bus, a small sheet metal tray down with a seat number so that the person in question could immediately seek out the right place. These buses were intended solely for international traffic because in/exit was on the bus's rear.

London's New "Hush-Hush" Coaches "Best In World" -- The new, streamlined bus photographed at Chiswick today. It is claimed to be the world's most advanced public vehicle. An experimental double-deck Green Line coach, claimed to be the world's most advanced bus, bus just been completed at Chiswick Works under "hush-hush" conditions. It is to be tried out in London streets very soon. It has a streamlined front with chromium "mounth-organ" grilled, and automatic air change system which keeps the vehicle at 60 degrees even when it is freezing outside, push-button doors, and airliner type "sink in" seats. Britain's Motor Industry Celebrates Its Jubilee -- 1910 B Type Bus, active service 1914-18 war. On July 27th the British motor industry held a cavalcade and exhibition in Regents Park, London, to mark the fifty years since the repeal, in 1896, of the Act of Parliament ordering that motor vehicles should be proceeded by an attendant. Veteran, middle-aged and modern cars and other transport vehicles in the cavalcade showed the progress the British industry has made in the last fifty years, and of the cars on view, many were 1946 models shown to the public for the first time.
