Renate Scholz. Renate Scholz (1919-1999) poses as the only child of Carla Scholz (Geb. Hartmann) and Dr. med. William Scholz, director of Deutsche Werft AG, from her first year of life to regularly in front of the camera. Thus, the Studio Diez-Dührkoop documents the young woman's growing up in the 1930s, which will later promote in Romance. The photographer Minya Diez-Dühnkoop (1873-1929) has begun as a 15-year-old in the Hamburg studio of her father, Rudolf Dührkoop, to work. From 1906 she is officially business partner of her father and finally takes over the "workshop for the artistic camera portrait" at the Jungfernstieg 34. Diez-Dührkoop is actively involved in the cultural life of the Hanseatic city and counts the artists Franz Radziwill, Emil Nolde and Max Pechstein to their models .
