Berlin Prison Where Nuremberg War Criminals May Be ExecutedA cell in the Platzensee Prison. This one is typical. It measure about eight feet by 12 and has one small window.It is expected that Nazi war criminals sentences to death at Nuremberg will be executed at the notorious Platzensee Prison in Berlin. Thousands of People met death at the Platzensee under the Nazi regime, including those who were involved in the 'bomb plot' against Hitler during the War.The goal was damaged by bombing and fighting in the War, but it is still in good condition. It contains several hundred prisoners, all of them youths convicted of serious crimes. September 28, 1946.

First Family Street Shelters: The Family Street Shelter being tried out today, in a shelter with no wall specially for the try-out. Stoke Newington is to have the first Family Street Shelters, and a demonstration was held today (Tues) by the Ministry of Home Security of the new shelters for individual families. The Shelter is divided off into separate compartments and each resident has a key and private entrance to their shelter. January 21, 1941.
