Supreme court Reverses their conviction -- Harry Bridges. (Left) west coast longshore labor union head and two other union officials, Henry Schmidt (Center) and J.R. Robertson are all smile after hearing that the supreme court had reversed perjury - conspiracy convictions against them. Bridges was accused of lying when he told a 1945 naturalization hearing that he was not a communist. Schmidt and Robertson testified for Bridges at the naturalization Hearing. June 24, 1953.
