Bob Hope and two members of the singing-dancing group "Golddiggers" perform during Hope's Annual Christmas show in Da Nang, Vietnam in 1968. The show, which also featured Ann Margaret, singer Linda Bennett, "Rosie" Greer, and trampolinist Dick Albers, entertained thousands of military personnel, including hospital patients. This photograph was taken by Cpl. Dave Messenger and is part of the collection "Photographs of American Military Activities during the Vietnam War."

Summoned to have her Gallery of immortals screen star Gene Tierney insisted on perpetuating the fame of Sid Grauman, the theatre's owner. Thus for the first time, the man who originated the foot-print-of-the-famous ***** Joined those whose fame he has marked Forever. Here, during the double ceremony, Miss Tierney makes sure that Grauman waits no longer to add his prints to the 'Most visible hall of Fame. January 28, 1946.
