The Italian submarine which was captured by the British trawler "Moonstone" lying in Aden after her short sharp fight. The "Moonstone", armed only with one 4-inch gun, scored a direct hit on the submarine's conning tower with her first shot. September 17, 1940.

Visit of the Hunter Killing Group 2. The American Destroyers are moored at the Parkkade.nog on the Nieuwe Maas de USS New (818, 1946-1976). Already moored the USS Damato (871, 1946-1980) and the USS Robert L. Wilson (847, 1946-1974). The Hunter Killing Group 2 would visit Rotterdam from October 29 to November 1, 1956. Due to the outbreak of the Suez crises, however, the ships already left on October 30, 1956. The Hunter Killing Group 2 consisted of: the Flight Champship USS Antietam (1945-1963), the tanker USS Neosho (1954-1978), Destroyers USS New (1946-1976), USS Holder (1946-1976), USS Rich (1946-1977), USS Robert L. Supplies Pour Ashore at Kwajalein. From U.S. Coast Guard-manned landing craft, tanks, trucks, oil drums, ammunition, and other supplies accumulate on the beach of Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands invasion. Coast Guardsmen handled many of the landing craft that brought the Marines and equipment ashore for the quick conquest of the Jap stronghold.
