The Royal Navy during the Second World War ML 134 is brought about to chase a floating mine cut by the fleet sweepers of 12th Minesweeping Flotilla in the Gulf of Genoa. The flotilla was commanded by Commander C Simpson DSC, RN. Surrendered German charts, Supermarine Walrus aircraft and the American Navy Navy balloon mine spotting detachment were all used to help search for mines in this area.
