Right portal Platafenhain Mathildenhöhe Darmstadt The Art Nouveau Ensemble of the Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt with park, sculptures and fountain served as an exhibition site between 1899 and 1914 and was the center of the artist colony. This was founded by Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig. Many buildings were built by the architect Joseph Maria Olbrich. Mathildenhöhe has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021.
