Brighton To Glasgow Cycle Race BeginsA general view of the start of the Brighton to Glasgow cycle race to-day, London.The first stage of a six-day marathon cycle race from Brighton to Glasgow began this morning (Monday). Sixty two competitors from England, Scotland, Australia and Poland set out from Brighton front making for New Malden, Surrey, first day's target in the 532-mile race. A message from the Lord Provost of Glasgow is being carried through out the race by one of the riders.
