Copy of Judith and Holofernes, by Donatello. A sculpture outside of the entrance to the Palazzo Vecchio. Town hall of Florence, Italy. The original bronze sculpture by Donatello was made in 1460, but replaced by a bronze copy in the late 20th century. The original is the only surviving signed work by Donatello.

The Mermaid sculpture in the Old Town Square, Warsaw, Poland, was designed by Varsovian sculptor, Konstanty Hegel. There are various legends about the Warsaw mermaid. The main one used in the City's literature and by tour guides says that the mermaid was swimming in the river when she stopped on a riverbank near the Old Town to rest.
