The State Railways, Sj y 299 "Wärtan" was built by Motala Workshop in 1881 and was taken over by SJ the following year and used in local traffic in Stockholm. The picture says "Wärtan" on a turntable at Värtan station. The station was built in 1882 and was an end station on the Värtabanan. It was closed down in 1913 in connection with the end of passenger traffic on the Värtabanan.

Stockholm - Nynäs Railway, SNJ Lok 9. The locomotive is former Eastern Centralbanan's railways, ÖCJ Lok 7, which was manufactured in 1904 by Motala Workshop. It was scrapped in 1957.

Steam locomotive. This locomotive is made by A. Borsig and was called their "animal series". 4 locomotives were named after animal "Wisent", "Elch", "Büffel" or "Mammut". What name this locomotive has is uncertain. The locomotive is made for HBE, Halberstadt Blankenburger Eisenbahngesellschaft.

Våhj Lok 4 "Åseda". Made by Nohab 1901. To SJ 1941 as SJ S10P 3007. Scrapped in 1952. The picture is taken at Växjö Bangård on the occasion of the nationalization of WAJ and CWJ, Våhj and VTJ.
