"Hunger Marchers" Arriving in Capital -- A view of the long line of automobile trucks loaded with delegations of "Hunger Marchers", coming down one of the main highways into the capital. The trucks were escorted by motorcycle police from the district of Columbia line to the vacant marine barracks, where they were housed by the authorities. The Marchers, numbering more than 1200 men and women, traveled from cities in the north, south and west, and will attempt to plead their cause at the opening of congress. February 08, 1932.
