Airolo Avalanche -- Troops at work on the foot of the avalanche. At right are some of the Unburied house of Airolo.The Avalanche which plummeted into the centre of the Swiss town of Airolo, Feb. 13, killing at least ten people and injuring many others, destroyed many of the houses and buried many of the streets.
