Mirrors of polished silver were fitted into the inner facings. The surface of the cast and chased case has been extensively worked to resemble champlevé enameling. The dragon motifs can be compared to those on the bowl of a drinking cup (acc. no. 47.101.31) and the knop of the Bertinus chalice ( acc. no. 47.101.30), both of which are also listed in this database. The foliate lugs and attached rings are modern additions.. In his left hand he holds a shovel and a bar in his right with which he pushes the size. This scene is shown on the two plates from a different point of view; On A the corn meter is shown diagonally from behind; On B from the front. The almost identical cartouches are made up of soft tissue that have mask-like shapes in the middle of the top and top. The city coat of arms of Amsterdam is included in the upper edge. The order adopted its name from Lucius Quintius Cincinnatus, a Roman statesman who took up arms for the good of the republic, but gladly relinquished power and returned to farming when the crisis had passed. The Society designed an order "by which its members shall be known," which included the figure of Cincinnatus with: "Three senators presenting him with a sword and other military ensigns; on a field in the background his wife standing at the door of their cottage, near it a plough and instruments of husbandry. Their crest, a rooster grasping a stalk of wheat, is embossed near the top. A tipped oil jug and a lit nine-stem candelabrum known as a hanukiah suggest the lamps use during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. Flat rounded ears are attached to the short sides of the basket. The walls and ears are driven and partially cut out with flowers and tifles. A floating putto is shown on each of the short sides. In the middle of the long sides, two putti hold a smooth shield within a frame of soft tissue. The name Eefferim V: Weelevelt is engraved on the shield on the top edge. The corners of the walls consist of soft tissue-like ornaments. A cable edge runs around the wall, surrounded by a motif of standing leaves. On the bottom plate, seven music -making putti are driven into a room with stone walls and a floor of tiles, against a background of a hung canvas behind which the tops of three semicircular windows can be seen.
