Fouson, After 1858 - Before 1956  With black-covered box with the decorations of the Grand Cross of the Ordre du Merite Civil et Militaire d'Adolphe de Nassau, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, granted to Prime Minister W. Drees. The decorations consist of the order sign with shoulder strap and the order star. The order sign is a white geemillated gold cross hanging on a crown. The middle medallion shows a crowned (gothic) letter A (for Adolph) in gold on a white surface, with the display 'Virtute' and bay leaves in gold on a blue surface. The reverse side shows in gold on a white surface the dates 1292 (year in which Adolf van Nassau became German king) and 1858 (Sitching year of the Order). The shoulder strap is deep blue with an orange edge on either side.
