Miss Irene Campbell assists Sydney's Leading Dance Band leader, Frank Coughlan, "The Old Maestro", to fill in his application from for Bonds in/Second Security Loan. Recently discharged from/Army, Frank Coughlan said: "The transition from War to Peace, needs, like music, rythm. To keep that rythm we must subscribe to the fullest our capacity to this £90,000,000 loan.Discharged from the Army recently, dance band leader, Frank Coughlan, is assisted by Irene Campbell to fill in an application form for bonds in the Second Security Loan. October 28, 1946.

Fifty-five-year-old recordings of an Arunta Tribe corroboree were found inthe cellar of the South Australian Parliament House, in Adelaide, recently. The records, made at Charlotte Waters, Central Australia, in 1901 by Professor Baldwin Spencer, will be recorded on tape and included in historical libraries. Here Mr. D. W. Haddon, of the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (left), Mr. G. H. Lawton of the Adelaide University (centre) and Mr. Newton Hobbs of the A.B.C., listen to the old cylinders on a phonograph made in 1898, the oldest known is Australia, at the A.
