British Sector Police Guard Communist Meeting In Berlin -- Friedrich Ebert, son of the Reichsprasident of Germany after the first world war, Speaking against the Western powers at a Communist meeting organised in the Kleiner Tiergarten Park in the British sector here. A Small party of anti-Communist youths attempted to rush the platform after Ebert's Speech, but were pushed back by German police who had ringed the meeting on the orders of the British Military Government. The Communists had obtained permission to hold the meeting. September 27, 1948.
