The Duchess of Windsor had her last wish granted by the Queen Yesterday. On a damp spring evening, her wreath-covered coffin was flown back to Windsor and, to a trumpet salute from Irish Guards men, slow-marched into the castle Chapel.The wreath came from her friends in France and members of the royal family, officials said. Tomorrow she will be buried beside her husband - the man who, as King Edward VIII, gave up a throne and an empire to marry her. The Duchess died in her Paris home last Thursday. July 19, 1946.

De Gaulle's GrandsonPhillippe De Gaulle, only son of General Charles De Gaulle, and his wife, Henriette De Montalembert, are shown with their first child which has been named Charles after his grandfather.
