Sir Winston accepts Nobel Prize for Literature - 'A Great Honour': 'I think it a very great honour' said Sir Winston Churchill when in the cabinet room at No. 10 Downing Street, London, to-day(Thursday) he was offered and formally accepted this year's Nobel Prize for Literature, which is worth £12,000. Here is seen with the Swedish Ambassador, Mr. Gunnar Hagglof, outside No. 10 after he had visited the British Premier to offer him the award.
