The simple headdress is difficult to reconcile with the decoration of the clothes - the silk casaquin (waistcoat), the day mitaines (mittens) and bracelets. These clothes are worn for the grandest occasions by the sailors of Polet, and date back to the 14th century. On the beach can be seen a bathing hut and a bather.
