A row of Curtiss OX-5 training airplane motors are being manufactured at the Willys Overland Co. plant in Elmira, New York. The motors are undergoing a one hour official test, with each dynamometer constantly in use. The testing process includes twenty minute stops to disconnect and connect the motors. The current generated during testing is being returned into the factory line through synchronous converters.
