Boxholms Bruk's first Ellloxboxholm mill dates back to the 18th century until modern times. The use has always had ironworks, and also processing its products, as the largest employment for the locals.Boxholm mill was first in Sweden with a railway track with electric drive 1890.de Three electric locomotives on this course had single -phase alternating current motors.

This 1903 picture of the Threshing Crew has a large machine at the right that is the engine for furnishing power to run the threshing machine. The long belt transmits the power from the engine to the separator, The huge pile of material in the background is the refuse straw and chaff that has been winnowed from the wheat and discharged through the long pipe resting upon the side of the mound.
