Two different artists are detectable: Mark and Luke stand out as the work of an exceptionally talented practitioner, including some breathtakingly lovely touches in the application of the flesh tones, rendered in a thin red wash on top of the translucent whites, the curls of the saints' hair, and details like the showering gold at the base of Luke's halo.
