In the general cemetery Crooswijk, prior to the celebration of the 299th anniversary of the Marines Corps, a memorial ceremony was held at the monument "the falling man" that commemorates the Dutch soldiers that are buried here. A second wreath is laid.

Berliners Honor Concentration Camp Victim -- Some of the mourners arriving with flowers of left are seen two who ***** the created camp uniform.Thousands of Berliners carrying surches of flowers and huge floral wreathe filed into the Lustgarten, famous downtown square of Berlin of Sept. 22 to participate in a mass memorial service in honor of friends and relatives who died in Nazi concentration camp. Many of the participants were concentration camp prisoners and some even were the striped suite that prisoners were in the camps. The paraders, arriving in groups, carried their floral tributes to a makeshift memorial, topped with a flaming torch, were the flowers were banked in a huge display. October 7, 1946. Dunkley 4391 - Mouring for the fallen. A group of Australian Diggers rest on their reversed arms at the dedication of the British War Cemetery at Yokohama.
