General Lopez Ochoa formed a column and entered Asturias, advancing first to Grado, then diverting to Aviles. Then I attack in the direction of Oviedo, whose suburbs arrived on October 10, 1934. Eduardo Lopez Ochoa y Portoundo (1877 - August 19, 1936) was a Spanish general, Africanist, and prominent Freemason. He was known for most of his life as a traditional Republican, and conspired against the government of Miguel Primo de Rivera. At the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic in 1931, Lopez Ochoa was designated capitan general of Catalonia. He led troops to crush the insurrection in Asturias in October 1934. nicknamed him "el verdugo de Asturias" ("the butcher of Asturias").

There are many photographs of Eva, her sisters and their children, Herta Schneider and her children, as well as photographs of Eva's vacations, family members and friends. Included also are photographs taken by and of Eva Braun at Hitler's chalet Berghof (or Kehlstein), photographs of Hitler and his entourage, visitors to Berghof and the scenery around Berchtesgaden, and some studio portraits of Eva and members of her family.

Three V.C.'S At The Palace -- L to R Lt. Colonel Henry Foote, V.C., Royal Tank Corps of Birmingham; Major Richard Wakeford, V.C. of London, Hampshire Regt. and Lance Corporal Francis Jefferson of Ulverston, Lancashire Fusiliers after their investiture by the King. At a recent Investiture held by H.M. The King, there were three winners of the Victoria Cross - 23-year-old Major Richard Wakeford, Hampshire Regiment, one of Britain's youngest V.C.'s he won the award in an action near Cassino in Italy. He was wounded in the face, both arms and both legs. The second V.C. was presented to LT. Colonel Henry Foote, Royal Tank Corps for his gallantry during an action in the Western Desert after the battle of "Knightsbridge" when he kept open a vital corridor for the Guards. He was taken prisoner in November 1942, and transferred to Italy, from where he escaped to Switzerland. The third recipient of the V.C. was Lance-Corporal Francis Jefferson of the Lamcashire Fuiliers, who won the award in t
