Funeral of George V on February 1st, 1936. George was born on June 3rd, 1865, and became heir to the throne after the death of his older brother, Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence from pneumonia. He married his brother's betrothed, Princess May of Teck in 1893 and together they had six children including the future Edward VIII and George VI. He died of influenza on January 20th 1936.
