The result of this project, referred to by Hutzel as Foto Arte Minore, is thorough documentation of art historical development in Italy up to the 18th century, including objects of the Etruscans and the Romans, as well as early Medieval, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque monuments. Images are organized by geographic region in Italy, then by province, city, site complex and monument.

Umbria Terni Ferentillo S. Maria5. Hutzel, Max 1960-1990 General views of town and basilica-style church, with its tall, pointed campanile. The church has a plain facade. Interior has slightly pointed arches and a wooden ceiling. There are few paintings. One large fresco depicts a series of female martyrs. Paintings appear to have been done from late Medieval to Renaissance. Object Notes: No Hutzel photo campaign notes. Negatives are missing.
