Ester and Haman for King Ahasveros. The beautiful ester is in conversation with the Persian king Ahasveros. Commissioned by her cousin Mordekai she argues to the king for the Jewish people. Ahasveros is convinced by ester and sends Haman, one of his highest officials and a large enemy of the Jews.
