12/31/1939. Francisco Antúnez Espada.- Betis player who, in the mid-1940s, signed for Sevilla, since the Betis club needed money. His transfer raised a lot of dust, since the Betic fans were opposed to it. Betis backed out of the deal, but Sevilla refused. The case reached the federal courts, which ruled in favor of the Sevilla team. Antúnez became League champion with Sevilla in the 1945-46 season.

Bob is proud of this football which was one of several used in the first test against Australia last year."How did you come to get hold of it" he was asked and replaied "Oh, one of the officials just left it lying near me after the game." New Zealand won the first test at Brisbane 13-5. Bob had three shots at goal, two of them going over and one, right from the side-line, hitting a post and bouncing back infield. July 13, 1951.
