Archibald Davidson (Weaver)Napkin with stylized pattern of a wreath and 'boteh's', anonymous, 1700 - 1725 Napkin from white Linnamast with a four -sided symmetrical pattern. In the middle a circle from which, diagonally, very stylized flower ornaments sprout; Flower vases on the space in between. The whole is enclosed by a flower and leaf wreath from which stems spring aside from which leaf fillets sprout and which end in a strange ornament that fills the corners of the midfield of the napkin. This ornament consists of a angular, flower branch-decorated, NAP or vase from which a 'Boteh-like decoration appears fills with a leaf motif and furthermore with servetwork. From the contours of this 'Boteh', flower branches, volutes and a lancet leaf -shaped ornament decorated with flowers. In the middle of the running and the horizontal edges, a stylized star -shaped flour with a rod or rod that is both wounded by a ribbon and by a branch with leaves, flowers and fruits.
